    Viaduct Square Apartments, Fanshawe St – Resource consent obtained to a mixed-use retail/office complex with adjacent 175-unit apartment building.

    Chancery Tower, Auckland CBD – Resource consent granted for a 37-level office, hotel and apartment building adjacent to the existing Chancery Retail Centre.

    Obtaining consents for various bulk retail centres in Mt Wellington, Manukau and St Lukes.

  • Residential Subdivision and Development

    Obtain numerous consents for complex residential developments of single dwellings in a variety of Council’s utilising their various rules and different definitions for development.

    Consents include resource consents for additions and alterations to and removal of pre 1940’s dwellings and consenting replacement dwellings in Auckland City’s heritage zones (Residential 1 & 2).

    Project management, preparation and obtaining approximately 20 resource consent applications for Housing New Zealand for infill housing projects in Auckland, Manukau and North Shore City.

    Housing New Zealand: Housing development for the elderly, Orakei. Consent obtained for redevelopment of four Housing New Zealand properties into a comprehensively designed housing development for the elderly/disabled.

    Specialist advice on a wide range of subdivision consents including residential subdivision and rural-residential subdivision.

  • Education

    Child Care Centres – Obtaining of approximately 15 consents for different child care centres on various sites throughout all Districts of the Auckland Region. Our consenting process includes the early scoping of site suitability issues, briefing any required technical experts such as noise and traffic consultants, and the project management of the whole consent process.

    Outline Plan of Works approval obtained for child care centres and schools when these are in accordance with site designations.

    Private Secondary School – resource consent application for a 50-child privately operated secondary school in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

    Primary School – Outline Plan of Works granted for Ministry of Education for Matauri Bay School, Far North District Council.

  • Industrial (land use and discharge consents)

    Obtain consents for numerous factory premises or extensions in Auckland City. Consents involve significant parking shortfalls as well as Health and Safety Plans, Hazardous substances compliance and the obtaining of significant consents for discharges to air.

  • Heritage

    Resource consents for additions and alterations and removal (of pre 1940’s dwellings) and replacement dwellings in Auckland City’s heritage zones (Residential 1 & 2).

    Resource consents for redevelopment/reuse of heritage buildings in the Auckland CBD, including bar/ accommodation use, cafe and medical centre activities.

  • Tourism/Commercial Recreation

    Snow Park/Snow Farm Gondola – Resource consent obtained for New Zealand’s first alpine gondola (located in the Cadrona Valley).

    Cadrona Alpine Village – Resource consent obtained for 126 unit resort accommodation and commercial development. Involved discharge and water take consents for on-site servicing.

    Silverdome Entertainment Centre, (Silverdale) – Consent obtained for 18m tall 2ha building for multiple recreational activities on a site outside of the Auckland Regional Councilís urban limits.

    Auckland Luge, (Silverdale) – Consent obtained for luge facility.

    Eyres Ecopark – lead consultant role in designing and consenting eco-tourism lodges on sensitive coastal headland at northern end of Pakiri Beach. Consents granted following Environment Court decision.

  • Residential Apartments and Mixed-use Developments

    170 Chapel Road, Flat Bush – Resource Consent obtained for a multi-level mixed-use development comprising seventeen retail units and 129 residential units.

    Viaduct Square Apartments, (Fanshawe St) – Resource consent obtained to a 175-unit apartment building with retail/office activities.

    Remuera Road Apartments – consent obtained for four separate multi-unit apartment developments on Remuera Road.

    A range of other apartment developments including: a 76-unit apartment development 14-18 Swanson Road, Henderson; a 118-unit apartment at mixed use development at 182-186 Symonds Street, Auckland and 106-unit apartment development at 4 Wagener Place, St Lukes.

  • Coastal and Rural Subdivision and Development

    Obtain consents for various types of coastal and rural developments including: Farm Parks, subdivision on the basis of the protection of Native bush and wetlands and subdivision through rehabilitation planting. Consents include discharge consents for communal waste water disposal schemes, communal water supplies, sediment control and works in water course consents.

    Eyres Ecopark, Te Arai – subdivision consent for coastal headland at northern end of Pakiri Beach. Consents granted following Environment Court decision.

    Hauraki Gulf Islands – subdivision consents for individual and/or clustered lots on sites with native vegetation suitable for protection.

    Gin Point, Matakana – first stage consent for subdivision of 104ha property involving extensive bush protection, rehabilitation planting and vesting of reserves and public walkways.
